Forest School for Home Educators

We are offering home educating or flexi-schooling families three taster sessions for children to experience a taste of forest school at Three Hagges Woodmeadow.

These sessions are for children only, aged 6 - 11 years however there is a nearby tea room if parents/carers wish to remain close-by.

Forest School is a long term process following 6 key principles, nurturing the connection to being outdoors in nature whilst developing attributes such as self confidence and resilience of participants. You can find out more details about what forest school is here.

Sessions will start and end around our fire circle at Bodgers Den, set in the beautiful Three Hagges Woodmeadow. We also have access to explore the surrounding ancient woodland, ponds and wildflower meadows.

We will offer activities and develop skills including tool use, fire lighting, campfire cooking, and nature exploration following the interests of the group.

£12 drop in session available Apr/May.
